The Blackstone Valley Veterans Association exist for the purpose of initiating and promoting public health, safety and welfare, and legislation of interest to all Veterans. Vietnam Veterans, Vietnam Era Veterans, World War II Veterans, Korean Veterans, Iraqi Veterans, Afghanistan Veterans, as well as all Veterans in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; of facilitating the administration of Veterans affairs; of upholding the honor of all Veterans as a matter of paramount public importance; and of encouraging cordial professional interchange and cooperation among the members of the Blackstone Valley Veterans Association and its affiliated brother and sister Veterans.
Membership in the Blackstone Valley Veterans Association shall consist of Vietnam Veterans, Vietnam Era Veterans, World War II Veterans, Korean Veterans, Iraqi Veterans, Afghanistan Veterans, and any other Veteran deemed acceptable by the membership, upon certification, and the presentation of discharge papers/DD-214. Those National Guard/Active Reserves are welcome to join the Blackstone Valley Veterans Association.
Under section 501 (c) (19) of the Internal Revenue Code, the Blackstone Valley Veterans Association is a tax exempt Veteran's organization. EID # 35-2314297
The Blackstone Valley Veterans Association also hold a Certificate for Solicitation from the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General's Division of Non-Profit Organizations/Public Charities, account number 033368.
